Invoicing and Billing : Invoices are sent around the end of every month, and are to be paid on time. 3.8% of the original invoice value is added to every overdue invoice every month overdue. A 3 day grace period is granted after an invoice is due, before the 3.8% fee is added. If the costumer communicates with Scargo Landscapes about paying an invoice late, in most cases the late fee is waved; however, this at discretion of Scargo Landscapes, not the customer. If the payment is overdue, Scargo Landscapes will communicate to the customer to address the situation. Formal collection letters may be sent outlining the overdue invoice, and specifying the consequences. When an invoice reaches one week overdue and there is no communication back from the customer, services will be paused at the discretion of Scargo Landscapes.
Payment : Scargo Landscapes accepts cash and checks. Check specifications and mailing address is on every invoice. Scargo Landscapes accepts online payments for invoices under $1,500, this will be shown on the invoice.
Planting and Growing : When Scargo Landscapes plants plants, installs sod, puts down grass seed, or adds any living thing to your home, when we complete the job we set up everything for successful growth, but when we leave we are not responsible for the death of any plants, sod, grass seed, or any other living things such as vegetable gardens. We do commit to ensuring the best outcome for survival of your plants, but because we are not on the property everyday, we are not responsible if something does happen.
Client Obligations : The client is to agree that the completion of services is subject to weather conditions, and the client will provide any Scargo Landscapes employees or subcontractors access to the jobsite to avoid delays. The client is to keep the jobsite clear of any known or potential hazards. If Scargo Landscapes shows up to a jobsite and there are hazards or debris that affects the job that we will be doing, at Scargo Landscape's discretion we may have to delay the job.
Irrigation on the jobsite : If Scargo Landscapes shows up to a jobsite to mow, and the irrigation system is on or was just recently on, we will leave and come back either later that day or the next business day. We ask all clients to keep irrigation to 4 days a week for the best lawn health, and to avoid watering on mow days. If an irrigation head is out of the ground and hidden under grass, and we hit it and it breaks, we will take liability and fix it as soon as we can.
